Ordering & delivery

Are your pieces ready to send or made to order?

Most pieces are made to order — usually ready to post within 2–3 working days. If something is ready to send sooner, I'll ship it right away

When will my order be despatched?

Orders are usually ready to post within 2–3 working days. During busy periods like Christmas, this may take 4–5 working days. You'll get a confirmation email with tracking once it's on its way.

How long does UK delivery take?

Total delivery from order:

  • Standard (Tracked 48): 5–7 working days
  • Express (Tracked 24): 3–4 working days

Free UK delivery on orders over £35 (Standard only). Express is £5.99 on all orders.

Do you deliver internationally?

Yes — I deliver worldwide via Royal Mail International Tracked. Total estimated delivery from order is 9–17 working days (including 2–3 working days processing). International orders may be subject to import duties set by your country's customs authority.

Do you deliver to the US?

Yes. US orders are sent from the UK via Royal Mail International Tracked.

Under current US import rules, all UK-origin deliveries may be charged import duties before delivery — typically around 10% of the order value for UK-made goods. These charges are set by US Customs, not by me. I always declare the full value and origin of every parcel.

What if my order doesn't arrive?

Every order is sent with tracking, so we can follow its journey together. If something seems wrong, just drop me a message and I'll sort it out. Full details are on my Delivery & Returns page.

What is your returns policy?

For non-custom pieces, you can request a return within 14 days of delivery. Returned pieces must be unused and in their original condition. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility unless the piece is faulty or not as described.

For custom or personalised pieces made to your specification, returns are not accepted once making has begun, unless the piece is faulty.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you need to make a change, drop me a message as soon as possible. Once an order has been posted I can't amend it, but I'll always do my best to help.

About the pieces

What materials do you use?

Every piece is made from natural wool using traditional needle felting techniques. I use high-quality wool roving and occasionally add small details like glass eyes or wire armatures for structure.

How should I look after my felted piece?

Keep it somewhere dry and away from direct sunlight. A gentle brush with a dry toothbrush removes any dust. These are decorative pieces — not machine-washable — but they're surprisingly sturdy.

Are these suitable for young children?

My pieces are decorative items, not toys, and some contain small parts. I'd recommend them for display rather than play — perfect on a shelf, desk, or bedside table.

Are the gaming-inspired chickens official merchandise?

No — they're original handmade creations inspired by popular games. They're not affiliated with or endorsed by any game studio. Each one is my own interpretation, made entirely by hand.

Custom orders & gifting

Can I personalise an existing piece?

Yes — on selected creations I can add simple details like one letter or initial. Look for the personalisation option on the product page, or send me a message if you're unsure.

Can I commission a custom piece?

Yes — send your idea through the contact form with colours, size, and any reference photos. I'll reply with a quote and a timescale before starting anything. Pricing depends on size and detail, and turnaround depends on complexity and my current queue.

Can I add gift wrapping or a note?

I pack each order carefully so every character arrives safely. If you'd like to include a gift message, just add it at checkout and I'll handwrite it on a care card.

Can I buy for a friend without the price in the parcel?

Yes. I do not include printed receipts in parcels.
